Debto is an AI-powered debt optimization platform operated by Fervour Technologies Pvt Ltd, registered in India. We help individuals understand their loan obligations, reduce interest costs, and build a path to becoming debt-free. Our registered email is hello@debto.pro.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity data: Full name, email address, mobile number, city, and state provided during registration.
  • Financial data: Loan details, EMI amounts, outstanding balances, interest rates, and repayment schedules that you enter manually or authorize us to fetch.
  • CIBIL / Credit data: Fetched only with your explicit consent via authorised bureau integrations.
  • Payment data: Transaction records processed via Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI credentials.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and device/browser information for improving the platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To generate your personalised AI debt analysis report.
  • To provide repayment strategy recommendations (Avalanche, Snowball, Hybrid).
  • To calculate balance transfer savings and simulate extra payment scenarios.
  • To process payments and maintain your account.
  • To communicate service updates, report availability, and support responses.
  • To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in India. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Aadhaar numbers are hashed and never stored in plain text. PAN numbers are masked after verification. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Payment processors: Razorpay, for transaction processing only.
  • Credit bureaus: Only with your explicit consent for CIBIL fetch.
  • Legal requirements: If required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory authority.

6. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
  • Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Nominate a representative to exercise these rights on your behalf.
